JAPANESE INN SENSYOEN
Traditional Japanese Inn
Welcome to SENSHOEN
Located in the heart of Hokkaido, our rice, vegetables, and fruit are truly delicious. Asahikawa and Sapporo markets are the first stop for freshly-caught seafood from the seas surrounding Hokkaido. This is the secret to fresh seafood at an inland location!
Selecting the freshest ingredients blessed by the bounty of the four seasons, and bringing out their natural flavor… this is the joy and delight of cuisine.
Relish the taste of Asahikawa that our chef creates in each dish on your dinner table.
We offer you the fine Japanese cuisine with the fresh ingredients from the city and throughout Hokkaido.
Enjoy your dinner at our private dining room, and breakfast at our Soba restaurant SOBASEN.
Our bath hall and attached sauna feature natural stone construction.
Finnish Sauna and Jacuzzi are equipped in our communal baths for both men's and women's.
It would be nice if you take a moment in our hot and quiet sauna to let your mind drift back over to a pleasant Asahikawa trip, or your own life, maybe.
One of the most attractive places in SENSYOEN is this corridor through the communal bath.
Once you grab a comfortable chair made in Asahikawa and glance down our Japanese garden, it might make you feel like it the time to crawl along.
There is even a small open-air bath. Our baths utilize cold spring water noted for its exceptional clarity, heated to the perfect temperature for a leisurely and satisfying soak.
